RELEASE intends to develop a Photovoltaic Power Plant of about 40MWp covering a total surface of 45Ha located in Kamakwie, Sella Limba Chiefdom, Karene District, in Sierra Leone’s Northern Region, on behalf of Electricity Generation and Transmission Company (EGTC). CEMMATS has been contracted to undertake ESIA, ESMP and RAP studies to satisfy the national legal requirements for undertaking a project of this nature, as well as to satisfy the International Finance Corporation Performance Standards, and the World Bank Environmental and Social Standards
