Rainforest Builder Sierra Leone aims to rejuvenate indigenous rainforests through the acquisition of lands let to fallow from local communities in five chiefdoms: Wonde, Bandajuma-Sowa, Futa Peje, Barri, Langrama, in Kenema, Bo and Pujehun Districts. Upon maturation, carbon credits will be marketed to finance the company’s operations. CEMMATS was contracted to carry out the ESIA studies required to satisfy the EPA-SL’s requirements for EIA Licencing.
