Regional Emergency Solar Power Intervention Project (RESPITE)

Project Brief

The project comprises an on-grid PV plant of 30 MWac (with at least 37.5 MWp) and a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of at least 15 MW/15 MWh at the Newton site and an on-grid PV plant of at least 10 MWac (12.5 MWp) with a new Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of at least 6 MW/6 MWh at the Lungi site; and a two-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract.

The Result

Project in progress. The project commenced on 1st January 2025; however, site visits began on 1st June 2025.
