Alex Kamara has over 30 years of professional experience with deep expertise in Business Operations, Strategy and Transformation. His career has covered multiple geographies, including locations as diverse as the USA, UK, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, Nigeria, and UAE, and he has held senior roles at Group and Country Operations level within the Technology, Telecommunications, Events and Entertainment industries.  In addition to his broad industry experience, Alex is accomplished in both emerging and established markets and has delivered significant results in both multinational companies and start-ups.

Alex’s current focus area is Enterprise Transformation, which calls on his extensive experience and for the past 6 years, Alex has worked in Abu Dhabi, UAE with Ethara, an Events, Entertainmentand Venue Management company where he leads StrategicTransformation.  Ethara hosts the internationally acclaimed Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit venue as well as multiple premier events within Abu Dhabi and the GCC region.

Alex is particularly passionate about building teams with demonstrated success driving creativity, productivity, and impact.  He is also a keen cyclist who enjoys science-fiction, travel and photography.

He holds an MBA from London Business School, an MSc in Materials Sciences from the University of California Los Angeles, and a BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK.
